BSL — India's oldest language school since 1971 — teaches Japanese with native Japanese trainers from JLPT N5 all the way to N1. Three scripts (hiragana, katakana, kanji), Japan work visa coaching, automotive and IT sector Japanese, and a free QR-verified certificate. Anime fans welcome.
No registration fee · Free JLPT assessment
Japanese is in high demand in India for three converging reasons: Japan's major manufacturing presence, an active Japan work visa programme, and the explosive growth of anime, manga, and Japanese gaming culture.
BSL welcomes both cultural enthusiasts and career-focused students. The curriculum adapts to your goal from the first session.
JLPT (Japanese Language Proficiency Test / 日本語能力試験) is the official Japanese certification administered by the Japan Foundation — the global standard accepted by universities, employers, and immigration authorities. BSL prepares for all five JLPT levels.
Japanese is the only language BSL teaches that uses three completely different writing systems simultaneously. BSL's native trainers use a proven phonetic-first approach: hiragana and katakana in month one, kanji progressively from N5.
Japan faces a critical demographic shortage and has created some of the world's most accessible skilled worker immigration pathways specifically for Indians. JLPT certification is the language requirement for most Japan work visas.
All plans include 3 free demo classes, free study material, and a free QR-verified certificate.
Every BSL Japanese trainer is a native Japanese speaker — JLPT certified and British Council approved. They teach authentic Japanese, not the textbook-only version.

Japanese Salary India 2025
Japan’s Specified Skilled Worker (SSW) visa is one of the most accessible pathways for Indian professionals to work in Japan. It requires JLPT N4 or JFT-Basic (achievable in 6 to 9 months with BSL) and a sector-specific skills test. SSW Type 1 allows up to 5 years in Japan. SSW Type 2 allows indefinite stay and family sponsorship in select sectors. Japan needs 500,000+ SSW workers by 2025 — Indian applicants are actively recruited.
JLPT N4 or JFT-Basic. N4 achievable in 6 to 9 months from zero with BSL live coaching. JFT-Basic (Rs 3,540) is a simpler alternative. BSL prepares for both N4 and JFT-Basic. N4 also allows work in 14 SSW sectors.
Manufacturing, construction, shipbuilding, automobile maintenance, aviation, hotel management, agriculture, fishery, food & beverage, restaurant, care work, building cleaning, and materials industries. Indian IT professionals also access Japan via Engineering/Humanities visa (N3–N2).
Rs 1,20,000 to Rs 2,00,000 per month (~¥180,000–300,000). SSW Type 2 roles in construction and shipbuilding can pay higher. Compare to India: a JLPT N4 holder earns Rs 4–7 LPA in India vs Rs 14–24 LPA equivalent in Japan for the same level.
SSW Type 1: up to 5 years (no family). SSW Type 2: indefinite stay + family sponsorship (construction and shipbuilding sectors). Total visa cost for Indians: Rs 40,000–70,000 including skill and language exams, documentation, and processing fees.
